Basin Burnout
Summary
Basin Burnout BBQ Cook-Off & Music Festival returns to the Midland County Horseshoe on Saturday, May 2, 2026, bringing together the Permian Basin’s energy industry, local businesses, and the broader community for a full day of barbecue, live music, and charitable impact.
Attendees can expect great BBQ from more than 40 energy industry competition teams, a variety of exhibitors to shop and explore, and live music throughout the day, culminating in an evening concert at the Horseshoe amphitheater headlined by Grammy Award–winning Stone Temple Pilots.
Now operated by the Basin Burnout Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, Basin Burnout continues its mission of uniting the Permian Basin to support those who served our country. All proceeds from the event directly benefit veteran-focused nonprofit organizations that provide critical services and resources to veterans and their families.
